They mentioned in the article it could take hours or may be days for the tool to run but did not mention any outlook mode. Did they forget or it does not make any differece?? I am waiting because I think they will improve this article and tool. As currently it's single threded.

Well, they kind of elude to it under Known Issues: Reminders appear later than expected. Let me know if that is clear to you. Also, why is it that PF's are always treated as if they are in a different galaxy...Known Issues: Public Folder calendars are not updated. We have tons of PF calendars...I have to run this manually? Really, who should I get mad at? Microsoft for running the patch late? EPA? Or pres Bush?

If you run the vbs take a look at your permissions at the server level. "Everyone" will have SendAs permissions as well as other elevated levels. I am building up virtuals now to test and confirm this.

Yes, tool is slow need to run on multiple machines. Used 4 xp boxes ran through about 8000 mbs in about 6hrs. This is just the export. Then you will need to update. With all the issues exporting the timezones, the export file will not be large so updating processing will be quicker because of that. As far as PFs create a batch file. I had to perform this on 180 PFs. Use pfdavadmin to search all pf calendars. Copy output to excel, then append tzmove.exe /q to each line. You can download free excel macros to do this in bulk. Let me know if you need help. tzmove.exe /q \\Public Folders\All Public Folders\test1\cal1 James Chong (MVP) MCSE | M+, S+, MCTS, Security+ msexchangetips.blogspot.com
