AlanDutton -> Ignoring AD Sites (12.Mar.2007 7:09:15 AM)

Hi All,
We're currently rolling out an E2K7 environment. Single Domain, Two Sites. We've got a mailbox role in each Site, and a Hub Transport in each site. Our problem is, that if a Hub Server goes down, mail flow stops. We could just add another Hub Server in each Site, but I think this is a bit of an overkill. My questions:
1) Is there anyway of getting the Exchange 2007 Mailbox Server to ignore the site link when the local Hub Transporter is down and go "out of site"?.
2) If we have to add the Hub Transport role to the Mailbox Server role, is there anyway of prioritizing which Hub Transport Server will be used.
3) What happens if our Client Access Server is in a 3rd Site?

Thanks for reading,

Alan
