jesusio -> MXLogic: Anyone have tips on setting it up? (12.Mar.2007 8:13:14 PM)

Ok, I'm not IT, but I was asked to look into our spam system and why it barely seems to work.

It looks like we use MXLogic's Email defense service, but we have purchased it through Tucows.  Both sites seem to require admin login to grab any setup documentation though.  I kind of think we don't have it setup correctly right now.

I will try and get this info when I can, but in the meantime if anyone knows of a website or two which might help me better understand it, thanks!

Found the help:  http://helpdocumentation.com/edportal/domain/index.htm

(anyone else dig the fact IE7 shows the URL when it's normally hidden?)

I think it's a problem with how we have our exchange server setup.  I think we are using Active Directory (?).  So basically at the end of the day, bob@domain1.com and bob@domain2.com all forward to bob@exchange.email.domain.com

Except for my example, it would go up to around @domain20.com or so.

It looks like with MxLogic's spam blocking service, you have to put in every email address from every domain.  That can't be right.  Does anyone know if they support just the final end address of users@exchange.email.domain.com?

Thanks again for any input, I'm pretty new to all of this so if anyone understands what I'm saying here and knows if it can be done, lmk.  Hopefully I'm not making a public fool of myself on that note.
