Quick question: Recovery Storage Group - 20.Mar.2007 8:09:40 PM

I'm new to Exchange Admin and just have a simple question.

We us CA Brightstor to backup Exchange. The previous administrator has set the job to back the Recovery Storage Group. My question is, do we need to back this up? I'm leaning towards no, but i'm unsure. I've also noticed that there isn't any mounted mailbox stores in this storage group.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Trupel

You Donn't need to back up the RSG.

By the way... did you know that is a RSG ?

If you are new... you better lear about it... it can save your job someday.
