T_M_P -> Mail Flow from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 (10.Apr.2007 10:15:01 AM)

I have to set up "something" (connector or something like this) to send mail from an Exchange 5.5 organization to an Exchange 2000 org. The two orgs are in two different domain.
I setted up an SMTP connector on Exch 2003 with the Exch5.5 server as smarthost and a Internet Mail Service on Exchange 5.5 with the Exch 2003 server as the smarthost.
The mail from Exch2003 to Exch5.5 flows correctly.
The problem raised with the reply to the messages or sending a new message, so from Exch 5.5 to Exchange 2003.
Even if I use the SMTP address, it doesn't work.
Does anyone can help me? What do I have to do on Exch 5.5 to connect to exch 2003?
