MarvinJ920 -> Repair Existing Server 2000 Installation (18.May2007 11:05:43 AM)
|
On a client's Windows 2000 Server, the machine was improperly shutdown and the registry was corrupted. After some Repair Console Commands (http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_sys32.htm), and a Fast Windows Repair, (http://www.windows2000.windowsreinstall.com/emergencyfastrepairno/index.htm) The machine was up and running. Problem is that none of the original programs are 'installed'... their program files are still there, but services are disabled and the registry has no record of exchange being installed. etc. SO I need to re-install exchange 2000 and retain all of the users mailboxes. I don't have an exchange 2000 CD, but I believe that it is on the MS Small Business Server 2000 CDs. ANY help on how to reinstall exchange? Thanks a LOT!
