How do I get rid of an email that is in the "Inbound messages awaiting conversion"?

It is stuck there and I can't delete it. I have a feeling that it is hosing up Exchange.

Any help is much appreciated

Presumably this is in the IMS queues.  Each message that passes through the IMS is stored in a file in the IMCDATA directory, in a subdirectory called either IN or OUT depending on the direction of travel.

If you can identify the file in the IN directory that corresponds to this message (look for time and date stamp info), then you could always try deleting the file - I might be inclined to stop the IMS service first, delete it, then restart the IMS.
