stevehoot -> Outlook Anywhere - HTTP 400/Bad Req on RPC_IN_DATA (19.Jun.2007 4:42:22 AM)
|
Hi everyone, I have Outlook Anywhere / RPC over HTTP(s) installed and enabled. As far as I can tell the setup is all OK. When I try to access it from a Client (Outlook 2003) I get prompted for authentication twice (all good). After the second authentication, Outlook sits there for about 2 minutes doing nothing, then reports that it cannot connect to the Exchange server. Looking at the IIS logs, I get: 2007-06-18 18:26:36 W3SVC1427802313 10.3.1.211 RPC_OUT_DATA /rpc/rpcproxy.dll exchange.domain.com:6004 443 DOMAINCOM\Steve.Hoot 10.3.1.201 MSRPC 200 0 0 2007-06-18 18:26:36 W3SVC1427802313 10.3.1.211 RPC_IN_DATA /rpc/rpcproxy.dll exchange.domain.com:6004 443 DOMAINCOM\Steve.Hoot 10.3.1.201 MSRPC 400 0 64 Looking at that, the RPC out call works fine (HTTP status 200), however the RPC in call fails with HTTP 400/Bad request. Also, there's nothing listed in Event Viewer other than confirmaiton messages that RPC has started and it's all good. Anyone help me out on this? Cheers, Steve.
