DocFinity -> Remove crashed exchange server from directory (14.Aug.2007 3:25:58 PM)

Hello,  I had a test exchange server setup that was being replicated with doubletake software,  again it was just a test.  However the machine has blue screened and Ive tried normal repair options,  but dont have time to worry about it.  I just need to know how to get that exchange server out of my environment,  usually you use the cd to uninstall exchange,  but thats not an option,  the server will not boot.  How can I accomplish this?  Thanks.  Phil

I just went to the server in ESM, right click,  remove server.  It said to use that if the server could not be brought online and since it was a replicated instance,  nothing was hurt by doing this.

Seems to me, there's a lot more to do than just that.

That is, of course, if your test Exchange server was the only Exchange server in your environment.
