Ok, when you have a moment - open up the Services MMC and stop the Exchange services, then double click on the script - watch the Services MMC - refreshing it periodically can you describe what you see?

Thanks

A

Hiya chap, you don't need to set the services to "Disabled" - if you leave the services at either "Manual" or "Auto" the script will take care of the rest.

Cheers

Hi,

I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

What if u were to use "NET START" command to start up the exchange services. What if you were to schedule the above Batch file to run every couple of hours. If the services are running it will only display an error stating that, if not it will start them for you.

Greetings Snajper,

You are new but you are great , I applyed your suggestion with a little change that worked great .

I schedule the script SVCCNF.vbs at system startup , so that when ever system restarts the script will run and start all the services.

Once Again thanks to all and specialy Snajper for helping solving this problem.

i will suggest others having this problem to use this method instead of putting the script at starp using GP.

Hiya G, I have been away for a while,

Could you let me know how you got on with this, I have read the last reply where you said that by scheduling my script on startup and then using a NET START command as suggested by snajper it all works - could you let me know what the configuration is that you now have - thanks,

A
