what documentation are you looking for??  How to create the cer file, or how to get it setup with active sync??  If it is getting it setup with active sync then you would search the Microsoft sites and it is all there.

Ok, it is becomming obvious that no one here has actually done this before using SSL and a server certificate.
Palm have release a tool to import the personal .cer file to the device, this is the only way to install the .cer file to the device as out of the box it does not support installing private certificates, only purchased certificates.
Thanks guys for all the information, but it just was not working that way that you all were saying that it would and im sure that the client got sick of me "trying" different things.
