Folks,

When users forward a vcard in Outlook 2007, I receive a puzzling error.  The users will right click on the name of a contact, and choose "Send Full Contact --> In Outlook Format".  The below error is bounced back.  It's unclear to me why Exchange is thinking the user is sending on behalf of another sender.

Any ideas?

Can someone try duplicating this for me and let me know if you receive a similar message?  I'm able to open a new message, and drag the contact to the new email just fine, but forwarding from the contact directly (as described in my first post) bounces.

Thanks.

Hi, I am having a similar problem but not with Vcards, just a user trying to send emails as himself, not send on behalf or anything, and getting that same error message.

I've posted it in a separate thread, as I didn't want to stomp into your thread with a similar but not-quite-the-same problem and take away from what you're trying to fix......

but here's the link:

I am having this exact issue with one of my clients trying to forward a vcard and receives

"You are not allowed to send this message because you are trying to send on behalf of another sender without permission to do so. Please verify that you are sending on behalf of the correct sender, or ask your system administrator to help you get the required permission."

Has anyone found an explanation or solution?
