vamram -> Multiple virtual servers on one node? (17.Oct.2007 5:00:32 PM)

Hey all,

We're looking at installing an SCC cluster of 2 active and 1 passive nodes.  Can we install more than 1 virtual exchange server per active node?

We want to distribute our multiple stores/databases over at least 4 clustered resource groups.  Is this possible/supported?  I've been unable to find an answer to this question.

Thanks much,

Victor

Ah, I have the answer.  Only 1 CMS allowed per active node.  From MS:

“E2K3 EVS’s are now called CMS (clustered mailbox server).  Each node can host only one CMS.  In essence, two CMS’s on a single node would be similar to an active-active cluster in a failover situation, which is unsupported.”

I'm still getting the terminology down  for 2007.
