e -> Ex-BPA E2K7 Readiness Check (18.Oct.2007 3:57:26 PM)

Current environment:  E2K3 SP2/W2K3 SP1
                                (4) Exchange Admin Routing Groups

As part of my planning, I have run the Ex-BPA E2K7 Readiness Check.  One Issue with a level of severity: "Routing and Site alignment: Europe when I look further to see what else I can find on this , it says Routing group Europe contains Exchange Servers that belong to different Active Directory Sites. "

My E2K3 Admin Groups and Routing Groups align with our AD sites; so, I am a bit stimied as to why I am getting is severe issue.

TIA

Hello all,

I'm having similar issue, however, I do know why.  In my current Ex03 production environment, I have 2 physical sites with their own AD sites.  I had installed a hot standby Ex03 recovery server in the opposite site but in the same AG as its production server.  For example:

SiteA:  AG_A = SiteA_Ex03prod and SiteB_Ex03recovery
SiteB:  AG_B = SiteB_Ex03prod and SiteA_Ex03recovery

My question is, do I need to uninstall the recovery Ex03 from each site prior to installing the first Ex07 server?  Or, will they all work in parallel?  I plan on removing both the Ex03 prod and recovery servers at the same time after all mailboxes have been moved to Ex07.

Thanks in advance.
