Here's the breakdown:
I created a child domain in AD, then in this child I installed Exch03 in it's own Admin Grp. Forestprep, domainprep, diagnostics were all A-OK for the installation.

In the new Admin Group, the Servers container is only visible when logged in on the EX server in the child domain. When viewing this Admin Grp from any EX server that is in the parent domain, I only see "System Policies" and "Routing Groups".

I don't see any events in the logs on either side that indicate an issue.

Any ideas?

This sounds like permissions to me.
I would imagine that DomainPREP has been run in both domains, and FORESTPREP in the parent (shared schema cascades down to the child).

The accounts that you use to logon to each domain, are they members of each others respective admin groups? - or more importantly to both admin accounts per domain have full exchange permissions?

Cheers

A

a.grogan... thank you for shedding light on this for me!

everything in your reply was set except for the accounts being members in each others respective "Administrators" group in the other domain.

Once I made this adjustment, a refresh brought up the "Servers" container in System Mgr on a remote exch server.

Case closed! Thank you again.
