Hey,

Ok, sbs 2003 with exchange (exchange sp1 at present).

We can send and receive email internally between users no problem. If we send email to an external recipient they receive it. However, anything sent to us from external sender isnt being delivered. Event log claims pop3 connection is going through successfully with no errors.

I suspect a problem with the mail provider (we catch all from pop3).

Now, me being naiive I could be wrong :)

Is there _anything_ on exchange that could stop email being delivered from outside the organisation?

Client computers are runnin XP sp2, with outlook 2007. I've read there are no issues with outlook 2007 and sbs, exchange 2003.

Any help appreciated, thanks :)

Are you collecting all mail from an external POP3 mail server with your Exchange?  If so, why don't you log into that mail server manually using a mail client such as Eudora or your Outlook to see if you're receiving mail there to start?
