Currently, I am running a test environment of 2K7 and am noticing that mail sent to test account are appearing hours and even days later than originally sent. I sent a test e-mail and document thru the system from an external e-mail address and it wasn't delivered for 36 hours. I checked the logs and the Server states that they received it 5 miniutes after it was sent. I am wondering if there is a problem with the clients running in cached mode or the OST. I am finding nothing posted online so far and on Technet.

Can someone please assist me in this issue. I want to go to production with exchange biut won't be if this is going to be an issue.

On the edge transport and hub transport servers under troubleshooting use the Logs features that will allow you to check when the e-mail came into your edge server and when it was passed to you hub server.
