protoluke -> There is currently no route to the mailbox database (19.Nov.2007 4:44:32 PM)

Has anyone found a good location for information / troubleshooting Exchange 2007 and 2003 routing groups?

I can not send from Exchage 2007 to Exchange 2003.  Everything else works.

The routing connectors were ititially created during setup, and recreated multiple times using powershell.  Bidirectional is set to true, and get-routinggroupconnector | fl shows all the settings, I think it should.  This is my last stop before 1-800-microsoft [:@]

hi,

What about the mailflow from 2k3 to 2k7 and vice versa?
Are you getting any NDR
What about internal mailflow withing e2k7 and external mailflow
Have you tried built tool exchange mail troubleshooter?

protoluke -> RE: There is currently no route to the mailbox database (20.Nov.2007 8:05:39 AM)

Thanks for the response-
2003->2007 everything works fine
NDR's - yes they return with 'no route to the mailbox database'
Internal and external email on the 2007 server works fine.
The troubleshooter doesnt lead to much.  It just shows me the mail message in the undeliverable queue, where I know it is.

Could you please post complete NDR message

there is no routing connector you have between 2k3 to 2k7 i guess

please create a new mail connector

New-RoutingGroupConnector -Name "Mail Connector" -SourceTransportServers "Exchange2007.domain.com" -TargetTransportServers "Exchange2003.domain.com" -Cost 1 -BiDirectional $true -PublicFolderReferralsEnabled $true

I have created the routing group connectors already - I should have posted them.  I recreated them just incase the initial install did not set it up correctly.  When I run get-routinggroupconnector | fl I get the following output. (Obviously it has been sanitized for internet use)
