pcdf -> Outgoing SMTP error: NDR 5.3.5 (29.Nov.2007 11:20:40 AM)

Hi there,
I've just uninstalled Trend Micro VirusWall which used to scan port 25 and redirect everything to port 6000 for exchange to pick it up.
After having uninstalled it I set Exchange listening port back to 25 and we can receive email alright. However when we try to send external emails we get the following error:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

sender@domain.co.uk

Reporting-MTA: dns;domain.co.uk
Received-From-MTA: dns;[xxx.x.x.x]
Arrival-Date: Thu, 29 Nov 2007 16:01:59 +0000

Final-Recipient: rfc822;sender@domain.co.uk
Action: failed
Status: 5.3.5

I've looked this up and it's apparently looping back to itself.
I've tried deleting the SMTP connector as suggested in http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;316617 but it's not worked. I've only got one virtual SMTP server so port sharing shouldn't be an issue...
Can anyone help? Any ideas would be most appreciated?
BTW, I use Windows server 2000 and Exchange 2000.
Thanks in advance.

This is the wrong forum for this as this forum is e2k7.

However, have you checked your smarthost setting?

Sorry, I didn't realised I posted this to the wrong forum.
Still not working btw.
Cheers,
Pat.

Good point made by John...there is a very high chance that your smarthost for delivery is still set to the Trend Micro

Thanks you guys, the was really with the smarthost that was sending to itselft for trend to pick it up. Rookie mistake.
Thanks again for your help. Most appreciated! :-)
