I have one FrotEnd Exchange server 2003 and two BackEnd Exchange server 2003, now I want  to do one FrontEnd Exchange Server 2007 and only one BackEnd Exchange Server 2007 (from the two BackEnd server 2003).
Could any one tell me how to do it.

assuming you wish to keep the domain install the Exchange 2007 server within the same exchange organisation.

Setup the routing connector between 03 and 07. Test with one user that it all works.

Than migrate all your users across to 07 with the built in exchange migrate tools.

Install the front-end exchange server and create a connector between the 07 back-end with a edge subscription.

A migration from 03 to 07 is quite easy - most people only have issues with setting up the first routing connector between the 03 and 07 server.

How to migration from 03 to 07?
This is done in a 2 stpe procedure.
A) Move mailbox
B) Move PF and SF.

What is the Front End in Exchange server 07.
Front End Server can be referred to Edge / Hub Transport role.

What is the BackEnd in Exchange server 07
Backend servers are normally Mailbox and CAS role servers.

P.S - Concept of FE-BE has been removed in E2k7, however for comparison sake i have tried to mention whats FE / BE in E2k7 above.

why I need setting up the first routing connector between the 03 and 07 server.
Reason why you need is because by default E2k7 is installed in a different AG and RG so communication between 2 RG happens over always a RGC.
