Contacts - Custom Fields - 17.Dec.2007 1:25:15 PM

I have a client that uses Exchange 2003 public folders to maintain shared contacts for the company.  Some time ago, these contacts were generated from an import from another application.  There were some fields that did not map directly to Exchange/Outlook fields but the client needs to be able to search/create views to use them. The problem is, I can see the custom fields in Entourage 2004 (they are named 'Custom Field 1' through '8').  I cannot find these fields, or the data within when viewing the contacts in Outlook 2003.  I have no idea where these fields are being stored.  There are currently no custom forms in use on the Exchange server.

All I need is a way to find the data in these fields and I can build views and publish them to all users. I am also concerned that these views won't be the same for Outlook and Entourage users even if I can display them the way i want.

If anyone has a clue or works with Mac/Windows users like this, please suggest anything that may help..

Thanks!
