Hi,

I'm upgrading to Ex 2007 from Ex 2003 over these holidays when everyones away. I created a temp server and have migrated the mailboxes across and made all mail flow throught that.

When I install ex 2007 is there a way to script the outlook clients to point to the new server? I know that it should automatically point to the new server if the old one is still active but it will be decommisioned before anyone logs on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you move the mail boxes to the new server the clients should change themselves.

Just to clarify - as long as both the old AND the new server are alive, with Exchange installed when the clients connect for the first time then the clients will redirect automatically.

Simon.
