Hi,

I 've a working exchange 2003 working enviroment. And I added Exchange 2007 client access & Hub transport  roles on one server and two E2k7 mailbox cluster servers to the existing exchange organisation.  I can send mail from e2k7 to e2k3 but not from e2k3 to e2k7. I got this error message

"Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, due to being unable to connect successfully to the destination mail server."

Also, I can't send mail to external  from e2k7. I believed it is something to do with routing.

Here is my

Awong,

Firstly can you send mail internally from one E2K7 mailbox to another? Secondly, can you confirm that there are there are the default receive connectors in place under "Server Configuration">>"Hub Transport" and they are enabled?

You don't have a smart host specified under the default virtual SMTP server on the E2K3 box do you? If you do then that's the problem. If not you might want to re-create the bi-directional routing group connector between the legacy routing group and the E2K7 routing group.

Thanks rhyswatson,

I can send email from e2k7 to e2k7 locally. After I added in to Internet Send Connector, I can send from e2k7 to Internet (external). So, I have no problem in sending email but  not receiving any email ( both from external and e2k3).

And I have two receive connectors (client & default) and are both enabled.

Pls help.
