Hello Experts,
I need one help here...
Exchange : 2007
Outlook : 2007
UserA wants to share the calendar with UserB.
When we try to share the calendar we are getting the following error message:
"Calendar sharing is not available with the following entries because of permission settings on your network"
We tried to change the sharing permission for userb as Editor or Reviewer and then tried to share calendar.
Both the users are in the same domain.

I tried in my lab it is working but for those users it is not working
Any help much much appreciated

I'm experiencing the same problem. I can create public folders and put new calendars or task lists into those folders but I can't share an existing users calendar. I generate the same message as above when I click the option in Outlook 2007 to "Share My Calendar..."

Is there some property or permission within Exchange that is blocking the sharing of local calendars?

I'm using Office 2k7. When I click "Share My Calendar..." it opens a default e-mail to choose recipients. No matter who I put into the To: field, when I hit send I generate the error message involving Calendar sharing is not available....

So I guess the answer to your question is, I've tried sending invites to both 2k3 and 2k7 office users.

hi mate,
Create one test account
and configure a outlook profile in your same client machine and try out to share calander with other users - let me know the output.
Then try to configure the same test account on another client machine - outlook 2007 and test it out whether it is working or not and do the same thing for your profile

If test account is working, then your mailbox might be having some issue.

Hi both,

I have the same problem also, very interesting issue nothing on the net about it. I have setup of 10 users, no problem with sharing calendars with all uses but one and get this message. However yestoday I did have one user that could share her calender with all but one and then got this message. I have tried permissions at both outlook level and exchange level. Still looking for answer.

It was definately the user profile in my case. I had a few of my co-workers attempt it using their calendar and worked fine. Sorry it took so long to reply but when I deleted and recreated my AD account/Exchange Account I blew up my profile on my computer and had to recreate it.

After verifying it worked for them, the way I went about troubleshooting the profile was to log into another domain pc with my profile and set up my exchange account, the same problem existed. So it was definately linked to my network profile.

Did you find a solution to the issue?  I've ran into this problem myself today.  We're running Exchange 2007, most clients running Outlook 2003.  Weird random problem, some clients are experiencing it, some aren't.  If you could point me in the direction of the solution I'd be extremely grateful.  I've found little to nothing scouring Google.
