Hello,
I am busy setting up my first exchange 2007 server, it is installed on a  2008 server which is also a domain controller.
The install went fine without any errors. I installed the following roles Mailbox, Client Access and Hub Transport.

The problem is this when I try to create a new mail box for a user I get the following error.

The Exchange server address list service failed to respond

I have checked and all the services seem to be running, can't find anything that might cause this. Any help would be great

it is a leap year bug change your system clock to not leap year it will work, MS confirmed this

Now I can go to bed and wait until tomorrow. I was looking half the day for the problem without solution.

Ok, now itīs the 1st of March and itīs still not working.
I first had to restart the Microsoft Exchange System Attendant service. Then it worked.

In another forum I read that it might help to make settings to the service so he will restart again after 1st failure to provide the problem to appear again.
