Me too. Seem a lot of articles or tutorials teaching people how to do the basic setup. The more important thing is how to obtain certificate from exchange to PDA. None of a tutorials teaching you how to do it. On my problem,

I am using Windows Vista with Windows Mobile Device Centre Installed. I am using "Get Device Certificate" / "I need to configure, enroll, or manage a custom certifice type (Advanced)". I don't know how to input all the information. On exchange server, do I need to install CA on a server or exchange already have a default certificate.

I got the following error on when I try to sync "The Microsoft Exchange Server requires a personal certificate to log on. Please obtain a certificate as directed by your corporation or service provider."

Microsoft doesn't provide step by step guide or detail information for it. it seems everything is on guess.

I have tried so many different articles on the net. I found a http://dragotown.com/2005/08/creating-a-self-signed-pkcs12-p12-certificate-using-openssl/ is the useful one to create PKCS#12 personal certificate and installed on my PDA. Now, I am facing differnet problem when I try to do activesync. I got the error message "Your accout in Microsoft Exchange Server does not have permission to synchronize with your currect settings. Contact your Exchange Server Administrator. Support code: 0x85010004

I have search different articles and try many things. still no luck but I am not giving up. I will post a news when I fix the problem.
