Is there a way to forward a request from a http to a https ? We have recently moved our exchange over from a http://exchangeserver to a https://exchangeserver

It's possible to use an index.html file...
html code;
<FRAMESET border=0 frameSpacing=0 rows=*,0 frameBorder=no noresize>
<FRAME marginWidth=0 marginHeight=0 src="https://exchangeserver">
If the client checks the http://exchangeserver address they will be re-routed to the https site automatically...

Using the directadmin management console of my webserver I can also re-route that http link easily to https... But I'm not sure if it's that easy with all webservers.

Hope this can help you out.
Kind regards,
E. ter Hofstede.

This is Microsoft's method: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839357
However I personally prefer the block port 80 method. Users quickly learn. I do not want port 80 open from the internet at all, even for a redirect.
