Hello there,

I'm having trouble getting a definitive answer from my web searching so, so I thought I'd ask ask the question here.

Can Outlook Anywhere be configured to use client-side certificates (eg. mutual SSL)?

Our organisation has a requirement that any inbound remote access must incorporate 2-factor authentication, which normally translates to an RSA token, plus a normal username/password credentials.

Obviously Outlook Anywhere doesn't support token based auth.... but I was wondering whether Outlook Anywhere could be configured to authenticate client side certificates as well? I'm not holding my breath, but was just wondering whether anyone else had looked at this?....

Cheers, froowstie

Nope. Outlook cannot cope with any prompts at all. It is basically the same technology issues that you have with using RSA or whatever.
