Hi All,

I realized that now all emails reside on the Exchange server, is it true that the SysAdmin can read any/all emails ?

If so, we need to ensure that emails, particularly Director emails are secure and private.

Please advise how this can be implemented.

Cheers,

By design, and by default, domain admin and enterprise admins are explicitly blocked from reading other mailboxes.

You can configure it otherwise, but it sounds like the defaults will work for you.

As a test, login as a domain admin account, and try to create a profile in your outlook for any other account.  In Exchange 5.5 it would let you right in.  Since Exchange 2000, you will be blocked unless you change the defaults.

by default no one can open any moil box except for it's owner. to grant some one to read u must give him full permission on mailbox and admin can do so.
so as said defaults won't do it.
P.S.: if u don't trust ur IT team , u better change it. cuz it's all about trust.
