we are migrating one of linux based (using webmail ) mailbox accounst to exchnage 2003 / on widnows 20003 OS


am new biew and i have users which we can import but somehow those users also have their own address books , which are provided to us in csv format

what is principally correct way  to imports these address  books for respective exchange accounts
can this be done whiel craeting mailboxes ?

e.g csv fle we have is as follows

This is a way you could do it, it may not be the most efficient way of doing it, but it should work.

  •  Split out the data into seperate CSV files for each user.
  • Create pst files for each user - make sure you name them exchangealias.pst
  • Add them to an Outlook profile.
  • Use Outlook's Import feature to import a user's CSV into the contact folder of the pst.
  • Repeat for all the CSV's.
  • Once complete, use Exmerge to import all the pst's into the users' mailboxes.
A similar alternative is create an Outlook profile for each user and import the csv directly into the mailbox.
