Hi all
We are in the process of migrating to Exchange 2007 and everything looks to be working wonderfully, with the exception of one minor bug.  When I launch my Outlook 2007 client, i get an error message that pops up.  It is a Security Alert.
it says:

INTERNALMAILSERVERNAME--(This should be my external DNS name)
The certificate is from a trusted certifying authority (Green Check)
The Security Certificate data is valid (Green Check)
The name of the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site (Red X)

I can proceed, and everything works just fine, but i really dont want my users to have to do this every time they launch Outlook.  We changed the certificate used by the HUB/CAS to our Wildcard certificate, and it works just fine for ActiveSync, and OWA, but it is throwing errors here.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to correct this problem?

Thanks

aaron

Aaron,

You should check if you can assign an alternate url to the certificate. The Red X is because the name of the fqdn on the certificate and which you trying to access are not the same.

I was just about to post back to the group.  I found the answer.  I followed the instructions on this page
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940726 and now everything is working great.
