isdept -> Exchange 5.5 not receiving attachments (8.May2008 1:44:15 PM)

I have an exchange 5.5 server running on Windows NT 4.0 sp6 server. System has been running smoothly until recently. When customers attempt to send emails with attachments, they get bounced back with the warning "451 Connection error", Will continue attempting to send. Customer can then send warning message to us with no problem(no attachments). I do not see any events in my event log that are pointing me to the problem. Eventually, the files seem to come through, usually on Saturday or Sunday. I have submitted the internet header information to MXLOGIC ( our SPAM filtering service) and they tell me the problem is on my end not theirs. Could this be a problem with my ISP? What should I be looking for on my Exchange server?
