old 2k3 server still trying to route msges

old 2k3 server still trying to route msges - 12.May2008 9:46:12 PM

i removed my old 2k3 server a couple months back when i setup my new 2k7 server. the removal worked just fine and i never had a problem with msges being routed ...until a couple days ago out of the blue.

below are the three event logs in order..could anyone please point me in the right direction on how to nuke this 'properly' ???

FYI: the old 2k3 server was named PUSAN

i have searched around on the topic 'The topology doesn't contain a route to Exchange 2000 Server or Exchange Server 2003 server' to no-avail

Just guessing here...
But it appears that that the routing group connector that included PUSAN is still in the org?

What does:

Get-routinggroupconnector

show?

And if so, then remove-routinggroupconnector

or, maybe you should just dial in to adsiedit (YMMV) and remove PUSAN from the org.

ahh...found it and removed it via adsiedit

is there a reason this server might have been left behind like that? i removed that server from the domain before i put in the 2k7 server. i did all the pre-req's and all that jazz..with no problems at all.
