The obvious question has to be is do you have a Org Forms system folder on the server and does it have a replica listed? Did you migrate from an Exchange 2003 system? If so, did you migrate the system folders?

Simon.

Yes it is from a 2k3 migration. I believe the systems folders were migrated however it was over a year ago so it's a little hard to remember. The strange thing is I can't replicate any PFs between the 2 exchange 2007 servers I have. They all give similar errors. Any ideas? We don't use PFs for anything other than Free+Busy and OAB, can I try and blow them out and just recreate?

Do you get the same errors on both servers? If you are having problems with replication then that needs to be looked at. Are both servers listed as replicas on the properties of the system folders?

Simon.

0x8004010f means can't find.
The other errors also tend to indicate the same thing.
Something is wrong with the public/system folders.

You could consider resetting the system folders.

Ok semi-stupid question...

Do I use the same new GUID to replace both the OAB and the System folder? Or do i need to generate 2 seperate GUIDs one for OAB and one for system?

Thanks!

get-publicfolders never shows anything.
Try get-publicfolderstatistics if you want to see something.

I haven't tried the wipe and replace method for public folders, so do not know how Exchange 2007 will react to that. You may well have to use that article in combination with the one that I have posted. The same GUID will work fine for both system folders in my experience.

Simon.

Ok so the strangeness continues:

-I completely removed Public Folders both user and System. I couldn't remove them via cmdlet it kept error-ring. I ended up remocing using ADSIEDIT.

-After removing checked for changes to be replicated through forest

-rebooted both Exchange servers

-recreated new PF Database on Server1
-recreated new PF Database on Server2

- Still cannot replicate..... if I attempt from GUI I get an error saying :

--------------------------------------------------------
Microsoft Exchange Error
--------------------------------------------------------
Action 'Update Content' could not be performed on object 'Organizational Forms'.
Organizational Forms
Failed
Error:
Cannot start content replication against public folder '\NON_IPM_SUBTREE\EFORMS REGISTRY\Organizational Forms' on public folder database 'EXServer1\Public Folders\Public Folder DB'.

80004005 is usually a permissions error. However I haven't seen it with Exchange 2007, and wouldn't know where to start. I would probably be considering a call to Microsoft if it was me.

Did you ever get a fix for this? I'm having the exact same problems as you and can't seem to find any articles with an actual fix.
