sExchange -> SCC and Databases per SG (11.Jun.2008 1:05:40 AM)

Hey ho....

Does anyone know if you can create more than one mailbox database in a storage group for SCC?  I know that CCR can't............not sure 'bout SCC.

Thank you all!

Change is good.

Well, since SCC doesn´t utilize Log Shipping it should be perfectly fine to put several databases into one storage group.

Ohh yeah!!!!!  A consultant told me no can do.  But i not believing him!  I not believing him!

Seriously though, since i do not know, and it did not make sense that scc could not have more than one DB.  I wonder if he meant if scr was ever implemented.

Thank you and may change be in your life.

Well, as you mention, LCR, SCR and CCR all use log shipping so there we all know by now that the ratio is one database per storage group.
