In Exchange System Manager go to your Exchange Server object,  and drill down to the Properties of your Default Virtual SMTP Server and choose the Access tab.

Under Realy settings it should read:
  • Only the list below
  • The list should be empty (at least only contain known hosts - like a mail sending printer)
  • Clear the "Allow all computers ..." And if you have more than one Exchange Server, put the IPs of those Servers in the before mentioned list. (If you are uncertain about this you can leave it as default.)

You posted your question in the Exchange 2000 forum.

Is your question for Exchange 2007?
