Rabidity -> exchange 2007 with outlook 2003 and public folders (11.Jun.2008 3:11:59 PM)

I have moved my public folders over to the 2007 box.  The public folders all appear in the public folder managment console.  I removed the replica from my 2003 exchange server.  I then dismounted the public store on my 2003 server.  Using Outlook 2007 I can view everything beautifully.  Using Outlook 2003 is another story.  How do I get my 2003 clients to be able to view the public folders?

On another note, I noticed that there is no option to delete say a calendar item that is in the public folders with the public folder management console.   How does one delete items besides using Outlook?

I would be looking to ensure that you have replicated the public and system folders correctly to the new server. Many people think it has replicated when it hasn't.

Management of the items in Public Folders hasn't changed from Exchange 2003. If you want to remove an item then you need to use OWA or Outlook.

Simon.
