troy12n -> Using MIIS feature pack between EX2003 and EX2007 (17.Jun.2008 4:47:44 PM)
|
I am attempting to set up a synchronization between two exchange systems in separate AD forests. One is Exchange 2003 SP2, one is Exchange 2007 SP1. Both forests have a 2 way trust between them, both are at Windows 2003 forest and domain functional level (if that matters). I have a secondary DNS zone hosted by each domain's DNS servers and zone transfers are configured and working. I have a direct T-1 connection between sites these DC's and Exchange servers are at, and I have send connectors on Exchange 2007 set to route mail bound for this domain over the T-1, not via the web, and a separate connector on the Ex 2003 side to do the same. I have set up the Microsoft IIS feature pack with SP2 per instructions on the web, and have sync'ed contacts. I have verified this is working properly and contact's have sync'ed on both sides into a "contacts" OU I created for just this purpose. This is working properly BOTH WAYS. However, contacts are NOT showing up in outlook or the address book. On the 2003 side, f I go into system manager, I can see the contacts if I want to do something like add permissions to a public folder, I see the contacts there (show up as objects with "globes"). I can also see them in the Exchange Management console in the 2007 side under recipients/contacts. Is there anything else I need to to, because outlook clients do not see them.
