Hi,

We are a small business and looking to purchase SBS 2003. All our current email is hosted with our web site hosting company (http://www.consolution.co.uk).

We are primarily looking to buy SBS 2003 as it come with exchange 2003 so all emplyoyees can share calenders, address books etc.

So the question I have is, can the exchange server on SBS2003 be configured so that it receives ALL EMAIL from our current remote the mail server and then set up Outlook to receive email via the exchange server and NOT SMTP/POP setup?

The answer is yes [:)]

All you need to do is make your Exchange (SBS) authoritative for your SMTP domain and configure your clients to use outlook to connect to their mailboxes. Have your remote mail server forward all mail for your SMTP domain to the newly installed exchange box using SMTP.
