We are using Exchange 2000 server and Outlook 2003 clients. Inside the Outlook 2003, the default email account is a POP account. The Exchange server is setuped as the second email account.

Problem: When some users send emails to internal user's email address (with the same domain name), some these emails cannot be received. Sender didn't get any error message. Instead, these undelivered emails go to the Exchange Badmail folder. The strange thing is the sender was using the POP server to send the emails not the Exchange server. Why the undelivered emails go to our Exchange server's Badmail folder? This situation is happened to two of our users very frequently. Some other users accounts work just fine.

Please help!

Mails that cause the transport service to crash twice will be marked and sent to the bad mail folder and stopped processing until you use queue viewer to retry them.

Check if there is wrong between the configuration of hte good and the bad clients and what is the difference to identify the problem.
