So when I type in my URL for my OWA the url shows this:

https://email07.MyDomain.com/CookieAuth.dll?GetLogon?reason=0&formdir=1&curl=Z2Fowa

Then i enter in the domain\user and password and it brings me the same sign in page again....if I login again at this window then it brings me to the user interface....the second sign in URL shows this:

https://email07.MyDomain.com/OWA/auth/logon.aspx?replaceCurrent=1&url=https%3a%2f%2femail07.quantumdi.com%2fOWA%2f

Now i do notice on the bottom of the sign in window it says:

Connected to Microsoft Exchange

Secured by Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server

and on the next sign in window it just says "Connected to Microsoft exchange"

Ideas?

sounds like something is ... wrong ... with the pass through authentication on the web publisher on the ISA.

I also have this IDENTICAL problem.

Requires you to login twice, on the second attempt it opens OWA correctly.

I am using SSL and Basic Authentication.

Does anyone have a fix for this? Its rather annoying and management are less than happy with an annoying bug like this.

Ive deleted and republished OWA in ISA, with still the same problems.

Server Configuration > Client Access.  Enable Basic Authentication for OWA.  The reason this is happening is because you authenticate through ISA, FBA is enabled on OWA, so it has you authenticate directly.  If you turn on basic authentication, once you authenticate to ISA, it'll allow the ISA to use basic authentication delegation on the rule to seamlessly authenticate you without prompting you again.
