Hi

I accidentally deleted a public folder holding callendar items, I recovered it using PFDAVAdmin (found here ) and the mailbox is back amoungst the public folders,
But now whenever my users try to open the shared callendar associated with that folder they get an error that the mailbox no longer exists.
The public folder also can not be invited to meetings

Does annyone have ann idea on how to fix this?

Did you mail-enable the folder after you recreated it?

Hi Uemurad, thanks for the help

I did, i rechecked and when i clicked the mail-enable function it said "mailbox is already mail-enabeled.

I checked again and when i try to open it as a shared callendar, outlook claims that there is no mailbox by that name on the server. I did notice back when i recovered it that the folder (and it's e-mail) had been renamed to meetingrooms-recoverd. However i had renamed them right-away.

Can you check and make sure if the original smtp address is assinged?

Use ADSIedit to find if existing public folder reference exits…?
Mail-enabled public folders use special Active Directory objects to store their mailbox attributes, such as automatically-generated proxy addresses. Each mail-enabled folder has one such object, and the object's name is the same as the folder name. check this also ....
