I ran the command and I got back; State: Clean Shutdown Log Required: 0-0 (0x0-0x0) That implies everything is good right? I moved all committed logs and have remounted, will run backup and let you know what happens.

I realized I never gave an update here. The dismount / remount did not solve any of the issues we were having. I read that sometimes this error can be thrown due to disk IO issues. Given a fairly large DB, slower 10K drives in RAID 5, maybe this had reared it's head against us. I've since broken up my database into multiple smaller ones and am working without any problems. Thanks for all of your help.
