Morning All. My colleague and exchange administrator is away on holiday at the minute and i've been left in charge of dameon the devil child, aka our exchange envirnonment... and it's been one thing after another. I've spent the last two days on the phone to microsoft and they've finally resolved a problem with corrupt databases and storage groups and got them all re-mounted, so that's good, but now this..... I'm at my wits end now and i'm sure that it's something simple, just a setting somewhere that i can't seem to find, so i'm turning to the professionals. It's quite simple really, our email routes from two different servers, PO2 and CO2, PO2 works fine and the queue's never really get above 2 or 3 emails as it sends them on very quickly, but the exchangeccr1 queue on CO2 for MapiDelivery grows until it reaches 62 and then clears itself back to 0 again?? Every time it waits until 62 emails are there before it sends them. Can anyone help and point me in the right direction? It's not too bad through the day, it's causing a minute or so's delay, but during last night it took 6 hours for the queue to get to 62 so emails sent at 1.15am weren't delivered until 7.30am. Thank you in advance!!! Graeme

I dont think this is a standard behaviour. Try and do a message tracking if the messages are actually queueing up for so long during night or day so that you amy know if it really getting delayed in the HUB server. It will be a good idea for you to contact Microsoft guys who fixed the store corruption to look in to this as well as the queue in which the mails are stuck is Mapidelivery=>Mails destined to mailbox database in local exchange mailbox server. The corruption may have something to do with this.
