Hi,

its not like a backup or copy of the mailbox. and a user account can not have more than one mailbox.

its a stale mailbox with some currupted items, and the user is not going to access it any more.

when you move a mailbox from a old server to the new server the mailbox may contains some currupted items, and the currupted items can not be moved or even Extracted by Exmerge as well.

you see the mailbox in the old server which has the currupted items.

****YOU CAN EVEN TRY THIS:

create a test user and also create a mailbox.
send some mails to the user.
now move the mailbox, to a different server or store.
you will not see the mailbox instance on the old server or store (because the new mailbox should not have any curruptions)***********
