I have recently installed SBS 2008 at a customer and he wants that all e-mails wich have errors in the front part of the e-mail adress to be delivered at a certain mailbox. Something like a Catchall account.

I have read that this is only possible when you use EDGE Transport and there for you need a dedicated server with specifically that roll on it. This is not done in my situation.

There for i found this link:

Wich describes how to create a CatchAll account with a script written by Marco de Graaf (Microsoft Guy).

But when i follow the small tutorial i encouter this error:

Install-TransportAgent : Invalid agent configuration in file 'C:\Program Files\
Microsoft\Exchange Server\TransportRoles\Shared\agents.config'.

Do you people know any other way to create a CatchAll account or how i could solve this error?

Did you modify the xml file correctly and place it in the folder?

Try enabling verbose while installting the agent to see if specific errors are being reported.

I have modified the xml file and correctly placed it in the same folder as the .dll file.

I am not yet that advanced in powershell, could you give me some hints to put it in verbose mode?

Well i'm just mentioning the -verbose option, but this being a custome agent, i doubt it has this option, if not, check the event viewer instead.
