I am pretty sure once you have your PF stores up and running and the PF hierarchy recreated; all your issues related to OL connectivity should go away.

Try setting up RPC over HTTPS and that should resolve the issue, after you enable the RPC try to check the name

hi

I have follow the steps described in
http://balld31.blogspot.com/2008/06/recreate-exchange-2003-folder.html

But after creating the Entries using ADSIEDIT i didn't find the PF Tree ..under First Storage group.
Because in the step number 17
17. Still within ADSIEdit, expand the Exchange 2007 Administrative Group | Servers | <servername> | Information Store | Second Storage Group
I didn't find the seconf Storage Group . I have only first storage group mentioned there. So i performed the remaining step with first storage group.

and BTW TECHSUPPORT, How do i configure RPC over HTTPS in exchange 2007 ?

Any help

Sir,

I would like to know the follwoing things
  1. Are you able to ping the client PC from the exchange server
  2. I would like to know if you are getting any error in the application log of the client and the exchange server.

Thank you.

about problem with FQDN (28.Jan.2009 1:43:30 AM )

check link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/303650/ - Intranet site is identified as an Internet site when you use an FQDN or an IP address

/exchange">https://<Exchange2007>/exchange is old Exchange 2003 link, new is /owa">https://<Exchange2007>/owa
check link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998359.aspx - How to Simplify the Outlook Web Access URL

P.S. Can you add IP, FQDN (example:192.168.1.15 exch15.domain.com) in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

switch -> RE: outlook unable to connect to Exchange server (4.Feb.2009 5:22:50 AM)

1. You have to define in your NIC a DNS server (e.g. the one of your ISP). If you only have a DNS server pointing to your internal Gateway, you will get error messages like you reported).
2. May be you should fix the IP Address, Subnet Mask AND the default gateway in your NIC. In some cases, if the Default Gateway has not been set, you may encounter the same error messages as you reported. See KB 913843 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913843

Hope this helps.
