1. You have to define in your NIC a DNS server (e.g. the one of your ISP). If you only have a DNS server pointing to your internal Gateway, you will get error messages like you reported). 2. May be you should fix the IP Address, Subnet Mask AND the default gateway in your NIC. In some cases, if the Default Gateway has not been set, you may encounter the same error messages as you reported. See KB 913843 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913843 Hope this helps.
