How ..maybe better stated...CAN I pull the lic. key off my server somewhere?
It doesn't get listed on the MLSC with all the rest of my keys.....I suspect my predecessor "lost" the cd jacket containing the lic key...

Unfortunately the best advice I can give you is to call Microsoft with the Product ID and your issue.

The license key converted and stored as a Product ID, and you would have to know the reverse algorithm to decrypt.

You can get the Product ID from the

Get-ExchangeServer -Identity %YourServer% | FL

Look for the ProductID output.

This is also available in ADSIEdit under the properties of the server object in the configuration container.
