When i try to uninstall my exchange i get this error

Exchange server "*****.****.COM" was not found. Please make sure you have typed it correctly.

Organization Preparation

Remove Exchange Files
Cancelled

i deleted the exchange accounts in my active directory and now i cant even uninstall it. i need to remove it completely so as to reinstall a fresh copy.

any solution to this please.

Okay looks like you are in mess... Now if you are going to re-install the Exchange 2007 server again just a word of caution, it migth cause some problems in future in mail routing.

Use ADSIEDIT to remove all the server's reference from AD and if it is the only in the organisation, remove the entire Exchange orgnisation from the AD and go for re-install.

yea I've setup quite a few test enviorments with exchange and not once could I ever get the uninstall to work, it was always something. MS forgot to put the just freakin do it button on this one.

If this is a production enviorment, it is best to clean up the AD enviorment if your comfortable using adsi. Depending on your reasons for the reinstall there might be other options as well.
