We have a single site.
We have one Exchang 03 Server and one Exchange '07 server.
I am currently in the process of moving mailboxes over as my testing seemed to be working perfectly.

I had originally moved over about 10 mailboxes to the Exchange 2007 Server and everything was working fine with them. However, now that I have migrated (in all) approximately 50 mailboxes, it seems that the Exchange 07 users cannot send mail to the Exchange 03 users.

I've seen a ton of Google listings that talk about the issue and have found some threads on this forum as well; however, they all seem to be in regards to multi-site Exchange organizations. I'm a single site and typically only have a single server in place.

Any help definetly appreciated as I'm in a pickle right now (and a rotten one at that).

Is there a NDR or the mails are just queued up? What is the additional information in the queue?

This is a common issue when there is authentication breakge. Check for the authentication part of SMTP VS in 2k3 and receive connector's part in 2k7.

Do you have a Routing Group Connector to connect both worlds?
Something of this sort:

New-RoutingGroupConnector
-Name "RGC" -SourceTransportServers "SourceSrv" -TargetTransportServers "TargetSrv" -Cost 1 -Bidirectional $true
Replace your SourceSrv and TargetSrv.
And to see if you have one:

Get-RoutingGroupConnector

Got it resolved - not a huge site, simply moved all mailboxes to new server
